Educational Savings Accounts

In the spring of 2023, the Iowa Legislature passed the Students First Act, making Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) available to families who choose non-public education for their children. These ESAs have allowed us to change our school tuition model to better reflect the reality of what it costs to educate a student at Saints Mary & Mathias. ESAs are helping us to pay our teachers more, and to provide even more resources for the kids enrolled in our parish school. They have also freed up a portion of our parish budget to spend on new hires and new initiatives.
