Saints Mary & Mathias Catholic Church is looking to add a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to our team! 

The Catholic African Community of our Parish will have the first French Mass on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Father Denis Hatungimana will celebrate this Mass. After Mass there will be a dinner that will take place at Gannon Hall. Click here for more details.

The weekend of July 16/17 we welcome Madison Bebber from Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) to all our masses. She is a Muscatine graduate who is now a missionary at the University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio. Click here to learn more about Maddie and her work!

If you are interested in having your child baptized, you are asked to participate in a Baptismal Preparation Session. We will be hosting these sessions quarterly at 9:15 AM in Gannon Hall on October 2 and January 22, 2023.

Kent Ferris will be ordained to the Diaconate on Saturday, July 9, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport. Attendance at the ordination is by ticket only. He will preach and assist at all the Masses on Sunday, July 10. There will be a special reception in Gannon Hall following each Mass.

Fr. Denis Hatungimana will be leading a meeting for African immigrants on Sunday, July 10 at 3:00 PM in Gannon Hall. Click here for more information.

The parish and school parking lots will be re-sealed and striped (parking space lines painted) beginning Monday, June 20. This project is expected to last until Thursday, June 23. Access to the Church, parish office, and school will remain open during the project, but you will need to observe barricades and follow signage while the work is going on.

It's baaaack!!! And it's not too late to sign up! VBS will be held June 13 - 17 from 8:30am - 12:00noon at the Mazzuchelli Center.
